Idaho Department of Labor
The Idaho Labor Department serves workers and employers. It helps people find jobs, get job training, offers computer and internet access, offers services to veterans and provides career guidance. The department also helps employers recruit workers, including assistance with hiring incentives and tax credits.

As a recipient of SNAP (Food Stamps) or cash assistance (TAFI), you have access to the E&T program! You have the opportunity to work with a dedicated Career Coach to guide you through the E&T program; at no cost to you. Providing you with the training and other support services you need to become competitive in the labor market. You can continue to receive support even after you become employed.

University of Idaho Cooperative Education
Cooperative Education, is an educational model in which students alternate semesters of academic study with terms of full-time (paid) employment in positions related to their academic and/or career goals. A participant can do 1-2 co-ops for two separate semesters plus summers, gaining up to a year of career experience before graduating.

The Education Information Center is a project of the North Idaho Family Group, Inc. A 501(c)(3) corporation based in Idaho. We are a Backbone Organization that provides Communication, Education, Marketing Services to Nonprofits and Families in North Idaho, furthering our mission of "Healthy Families & Lifelong Learning."
Idaho Career & Technical Education
Idaho Career & Technical Education is responsible for the secondary, postsecondary, and adult career & technical programs delivered throughout Idaho’s public-school districts and six technical colleges. We also facilitate collaboration between industry and public education to offer Workforce Training. These programs are short term, non-credit, cost friendly classes designed for individuals looking to upgrade training, increase their skills, or for industry to create custom classes for their employees

Veteran Services
Idaho Department of Labor Veterans Representative
More than 130,000 Idahoans are veterans of the Armed Forces. If you are a veteran, you have earned benefits for yourself and potentially for your family, but you must apply to receive these benefits. The local veteran service rep can help with these benefits along with job search activities.

Mission43 is a partnership of the J.A. and Kathryn Albertson Family Foundation and three premier veterans organizations designed to give currently serving military, former military, and military spouses in Idaho, the 43rd state, the resources for a successful transition after leaving the service. By bringing together these world-class organizations, Idaho's post-9/11 servicemen, women, and their spouses have the resources to excel academically, in their next career, and in the community.

The Veterans Service Officer acts as an advocate for veterans and their dependents. The Officer provides technical assistance in obtaining a wide range of entitled veteran benefits, such as:Awards and Decorations, Correction of Military Records, Dependency and Indemnity Compensation, Counseling and Rehabilitation Care,Reemployment Rights, and VA Pensions
